Provided technical advice on design of the Australian Government's $50 million Energy Efficient Communities Grants Program with a particular focus on delivery to community organisations, small businesses and large energy consuming businesses.

The advice that was provided covered a range of design aspects including:

- eligibility criteria for determining recipients

- eligibility criteria for the types of activities to be funded including energy efficient equipment upgrades, energy monitoring and feasibility studies

- eligibility criteria for the organisations and individuals to deliver the funded activities

- development of an impact and evaluation strategy.
