Background

The IEA Energy Efficiency in Emerging Economies Training Weeks are 4 or 5-day training events dedicated to sharing experience with planning, implementing and evaluating energy efficiency policies in emerging economies.

The aim of these training events is to equip energy efficiency policy makers with knowledge and skills to be more effective in their roles. Participants become part of the international energy efficiency community with a large support network to call upon as they progress through their careers.

Brief
  • Review and update training plan and agendas

  • Develop materials and interactive learning exercises

  • Review pre-workshop survey

  • Identify relevant guest speakers

  • Facilitate and deliver sessions at the training over 3 days

  • Develop a training report including recommendations for initiatives that will support ongoing networking between alumni
